Eco-Audio?

Is there really a way that a humble audio production house can go green?
If there is, Audio Ninja is all for conserving energy and helping the environment however we can. Now we don't know too much about global warming and carbon footprints but we know that there are little things we can do to do our part. In fact, it started right when we went up with our website. Our web hosting is done by FatCow who use wind energy to run their company. Here's how they do it.

And to conserve energy, we just invested in LED flood lights for our studios...

Each bulb uses 15 watts of energy and have a life-span of 50,000 hours. That means you could leave the lights on for over 5 1/2 years before the bulb goes out! And since they don't use as much energy as a normal bulb, you're not using as much electricity either. And these bulbs are just as bright if not brighter than normal bulbs!





But the way we help the environment the most is by recycling all the soda cans we empty because sometimes it takes a lot of caffeine to get through a session!

Big News!

Awards!

Congratulations to 105.7 WAPL for recently winning the Marconi Award from the National Association of Broadcasters for 2011 Rock Station of the Year! This is the second time WAPL has won this award. Audio Ninja is especially proud as we have had a hand in imaging the station for both awards! Awesome!

Christmas in August Is Today!

It's time to open presents!
The new studio computer just arrived as well as some other equipment that will be delivered later today! And here we thought we were on the Naughty List...

New Toys

A sorely needed upgrade of our studio is close to being completed as new equipment is on its way to Audio Ninja! And our new website is taking shape as well and we should be ready to go up with it very soon. It's like Christmas in August... except mosquitoes instead of mistletoe.

Now That's Progress!

Not really. As you can see, our site hasn't changed much since we went up with it a few months ago. We could tell you that our whirlwind media tour talking about our big award was the reason... but why lie. Fact is it's summer and for the last few months our time has been spread a little thin. We do have some things in the works here at Audio Ninja. In addition to the new website, we're working on an equipment upgrade for the studio as well as continuing projects for our clients. So its not like we're lazy or anything. Just not enough hours in the day. We're excited to to get the new site up so you can actually hear what it is we do here at Audio Ninja. Your patience will be rewarded. Now why are you still looking at a computer screen? Go and enjoy the summer!

Half Empty
